AQUATECH AUSTRALIA PTY LTD has completed a number of integrated hatchery developments involving the identification of a site, design of a suitable facility, (within the constraints of the site, species requirements and budget), commissioning of the facility, management and training of staff, in an ongoing capacity if required.
For a range of facilities, Derek Cropp has been called in as a trouble-shooter. Production failures often lead to substantial financial losses and usually need to be rectified quickly. His role has been to identify the problems, recommend solutions and see these are implemented satisfactorily so that production can commence or re-commence quickly. His wide ranging background on a large diversity of species provides unique experience on which to make informed decisions affecting the future of hatcheries or nurseries with immediate problems.
